'Bring An Accent' Small Group Class

Service Description

Six week long; 6-two hour, small group sessions (minimum 4, maximum 8 to a class) focused on learning the fundamentals of any accents students bring to class with the desire to gain proficiency. (Limited to one requested accent per student). This option is for you: If you prefer a group dynamic. If you want an introduction to, or review of, an accent of your choosing that you have strong interest in, or that you feel would be beneficial to add to your actor tool kit. If you would like an overview of a number of accents over a six week period. Included: -Fundamentals of placement, intonation, sound changes. - Relevant, light International Phonetic Alphabet study. (Don't let this part scare you. The IPA is an optional tool not a necessity). -Vernacular (common phrases and words). -Monologue / scene work.
